Ingredients
1 pkg. Marcangelo Pork Sausage Meat
1 clove garlic, minced
½ cup sweet onion, finely diced
½ cup carrots, peeled and coarsely grated
½ cup celery, finely diced
2 cups fresh baguette, torn into ½” pieces
½ tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp. fresh thyme leaves
5 leaves fresh sage, thinly sliced
Cooking Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Crumble Marcangelo Pork Sausage Meat into pieces in a large non-stick skillet. Cook the sausage over medium-high heat, breaking it up into smaller pieces with a wooden spoon, until cooked through and beginning to brown, about 4 to 5 minutes.
Add the garlic, onion, carrots and celery to the sausage meat and cook, stirring occasionally until vegetables are tender, about 4 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the fresh torn baguette pieces and season with black pepper, thyme and sage.
Transfer the stuffing into a shallow casserole dish and bake in the preheated oven
for 25 to 30 minutes until piping hot throughout and starting to brown on top.
