About Food Safety, Conservation, and our Future. We are constantly looking for ways to be more environmentally friendly, beginning with the redesign of our packaging for all our products, the reduction of food waste, and how we can give back to our community.
Sustainability in our Products and Packaging
As with all food companies, we have an obligation to uphold quality and freshness while ensuring our products adhere to Food Safety guidelines for consumer use.
All our facilities follow strict global Food Safety guidelines, and are regulated by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
While maintaining our Food Safety standards and aiming to be more environmentally friendly, we have taken steps to reduce the amount of packaging used for all of our products.
It is our aim with our new packaging formats to reduce the environmental impact and ecological footprint our products may have.
As we continue to move towards reduced packaging, we are also hard at work finding other ways to reduce waste and conserve resources consumed during our production processes.
